This was the last week of training! My next post will be about the event itself. I’m excited to have gotten through it, and better than I originally anticipated.phil-week22

Temps were a bit warmer and humidity is still up so it has been affecting my running times. I ran six miles on Saturday in the early morning. It was a little windy and my pace was 8:43. Not what I would like at this point in the training but my last “long” run until the relay.

I got in 3.1 on Sunday at a sub-8 minute pace. Monday was Memorial Day and I got in a little swimming at the pond while at the in-laws. Nothing substantial but a little exercise nonetheless.

Tuesday I ran three more at an 8:12 pace and finished with 98 miles in May.

Wednesday happened to be #NationalRunningDay and I put in two miles before work. My last miles before the relay. Pace was 8:16. 14.1 total miles for the week and a final total of 364.8 miles since I started training.

Bring on the KT82 Relay!!
