This week started off at the Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis. This is one of the highlights of my year because this is B1G-2016the G6 Summit weekend. This is the weekend we all set aside and convene for a weekend of basketball, fellowship and brotherhood. We traditionally run together on Saturday morning and get in a little track workout. I don’t know exactly how many miles we got in but it was somewhere around three miles total that included a lap around the track, a 100m race and a relay race. This was fun too, because four of the six of us will make up our KT82 team in June.

I didn’t run on Sunday because it rained all day and I was sore. I didn’t run on Monday because I was even more sore. I realized I didn’t stretch before or after our track workout…at all. What was I thinking.

I got in two slow miles on Tuesday because I felt like I needed to get loosened up. I ran three more on Wednesday and two again on Thursday. It wasn’t the best week of running because, along with being sore, I had a cold as well which kind of slowed me down this week.

So, my total for the week was a mere ten miles. Next week will be better.
